Client Support: Staff provides information and support to people concerned about Alzheimer's disease and dementia(ARDR). Support Groups: people with early symptoms of ADRD find support through weekly meetings. Family caregivers attend monthly groups lead by trained facilitators. Family Education: opportunities include "Living with Alzheimer's Disease" workshop, specialized presentations and Care4u conference. Professional Education: health care professionals increase knowledge about caring for people with ADRD through the ASM's Annual Conference and workshops and workshops. Awareness: staff provides information about the warning signs of ADRD and brain health to the public. Community Outreach: relationships are built to ensure the needs of Manitobans affected by ADRD are met.
