Accueil francophone - Resettlement Assistance Program

The Re-establishment Assistance Program (PAR) aims to offer basic financial support to people eligible for this program for a maximum period of one year following their arrival or until they are financially independent, depending on the first of these is until they have sufficient income to cover their expenses, whether it is employment income or some other source.

The services offered to refugees under this program are:

Reception and establishment:

• reception at the airport or at the point of entry,
• temporary accommodation,
• the help needed to find permanent accommodation,
• the purchase of basic household items,
• general assistance for living in Canada,
• needs assessment and available intervention methods,
• identification of appropriate resources.
