About this service
NorWest is proud to offer free counselling and support services for people in the Inkster community who live with diabetes.
We have a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, certified diabetes educators, clinical pharmacist, health promoter, dietitians and primary care nurses to help you live well with diabetes.
- Nutrition counselling nutrition assessments, education, meal planning and label reading with a dietitian or certified diabetes educator.
- Medication management medication assessment and review by a clinical pharmacist, medication adjustments, education and support with medication management; Insulin starts and adjustment by the team.
- Self-management support groups
