The mandate of the Law Society of Manitoba is to regulate the profession in the public interest. We license, train, educate and insure lawyers who practise in Manitoba. We set standards of conduct through the Code of Professional Conduct to ensure that lawyers are competent and ethical. These standards can be enforced through the Law Societys complaints process.
