We support individuals with intellectual disabilities to enable them to live in their own homes within the community. This is achieved by respecting one's individuality and recognizing the interdependence of relationships so that we can all live a valued and dignified life based on personal strengths, needs and choices.
Prairie Places Inc. is a non-profit agency that supports people with intellectual disabilities to live successfully in their own homes within the community.
The goal of Prairie Places Inc. is to encourage and challenge individuals to grow, learn new things and make decisions with the support of friends and family. Learning new skills and exploring new experiences help all of us as individuals to grow and learn more about ourselves. This sense of achievement can blossom into an increased sense of self-worth and self-esteem.
