About this organization

Manitoba Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (MCPSA) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing training, competitive opportunities, physical fitness and team community for youth and adults with physical disabilities. We value the life enriching qualities inherent in physical activity and the pursuit of excellence in sport through respect, integrity, empowerment, commitment, and perseverance.

Founded in 1984, MCPSA was initiated by a group of individuals who recognized a need to provide Manitobans with cerebral palsy (CP) and related disabilities an opportunity to participate in provincial and national and international competitive sport opportunities.. The Associations initial activities focused on supporting and delivering programming in the sports of Swimming, Boccia, and Athletics for athletes with CP.
