About this organization

The Gilbert Plains & District Community Resource Council is a community based program designed to help seniors and people with disabilities in our community maintain their independence and remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

There is a volunteer Board of Directors that are from the community, and they are elected annually.

The Parkland Regional Health Authority provides funds to hire a Community Resource Coordinator. All other expenses must come though donations and fundraising events.
