COVID-19 UPDATE: ADAM is not providing in-person services at this time. We are available by email or phone and have developed a new program to help Manitobans deal with pandemic and other worries.

Everyone experiences anxiety at some point in their lives. It's perfectly normal. In fact, it can even be helpful. For example, if you're anxious about an upcoming test, your anxiety can motivate you to study well. It is also normal to be anxious in such instances as a job interview, a big occasion like a wedding, or the birth of a baby.

However, anxiety can sometimes become severe and negatively affect your life. If your anxiety has reached this point, you may have an anxiety disorder.
