About this service
The Youth Justice Transition Program is a Southern Vancouver Island justice support program for youth between 12 and 18 years of age. Youth can be in the program for up to 90 days. Referrals to the program are made through the youths Probation Officer and the youth must meet specific legal criteria to qualify. The youth must have a court order with a reside as a directed condition.
The Youth Justice Transition Program emphasizes community-based support with education, employment, counselling, housing, life skills, and recreation that facilitate the full integration of the participant into the community.
