About this organization

The Victoria Sexual Assault Clinic is a ground breaking program in its second year of operation. The Sexual Assault Response Team offers emotional support and works with Forensic Nurse Examiners who provide medical examinations for recent sexual assaults in a clinic setting rather than emergency rooms at hospital. The clinic also houses two police interview rooms should the survivor want to report to the police, rather than going to a police station. This is the first program in the Province to provide these services in a primate setting in collaboration with Island Health Authority, Police Detachments and the RCMP.
