About this service
The Thetis program provides children and youth in need of long term permanency placement, stable long-term family care homes. The Thetis program is designed to support the family care home to help ensure that the child or youth will have success in an environment where they can thrive.
The program provides a Thetis Support Facilitator for the caregiver and child or youth, who can provide daily support and 24/7 consultation. The program also provides respite relief for the caregivers. Referrals are made through MCFD and Designated Aboriginal Agencies.
