About this service
On our Parkdale Manor site, Calling Ministries provides some suites of affordable housing to students who are in full time Christian studies or who are members of supporting churches undertaking post-secondary studies. Many of the students attend Regent College on the UBC campus.
Students are provided an opportunity to volunteer interacting with seniors living at Parkdale Manor; supplementing their studies with practical opportunities to serve. All student accommodation is subject to Calling Ministries student housing policies.
Student Supports: Calling Ministries provides an internship for a student, or spouse, staying in our Parkdale student housing to work with our seniors as part of our Elevate program. The internship funding is supported by a grant from a contributing church.
