About this service
The Aboriginal Mother Outreach Department is doing more than housing. We are a wraparound program that helps support families and single men and women to seek further employment or education. To help enhance their lives using the Medicine Wheel concept.
The AMCS Homelessness Outreach Program is designed for Aboriginal individuals and families in the Metro Vancouver area who are facing any of the following situations:
At risk of homelessness; or, Homeless for 6 months or more; or, have had 3 episodes of homelessness in the last year. These services are made available by: HPS (Homelessness Partnering Strategy) Housing First ESDC funding & HPP (Homelessness Prevention Program) BC Housing funding.
