SYJA stands for Street Youth Job Action. It is a pre-employment program run by Directions Youth Services. To participate in the program, you must be an existing client of Directions, under 25, and be legally eligible to work in Canada (this means you must have a Social Insurance Number). If youre at Directions during the day on weekdays, you may ask the staff to speak with the Program Coordinator, or you can call and leave a message at 604-633-1472 ext 3519.
