About this service
Since 2006, weve rented office space in the Abbott to the Crosstown Clinic, which researches whether heroin can be used therapeutically to treat chronic heroin addictions in people who have not responded to other treatment methods. Central City Foundation looked beyond these concerns to see the social impact of this organization. The Crosstown Clinic is the only clinic in North America to offer medical-grade heroin and the legal analgesic hydromorphone within a supervised clinical setting to chronic substance use patients.
