About this service
A childrens hospice differs from an adult hospice. We are there with families throughout the entire span of a childs life to provide comfort and care; from the point of diagnosis and progression of illness, to death and beyond.As British Columbias recognized pediatric palliative care provider under Child Health BC Tiers of Service Framework, we provide comprehensive services for children with complex medical challenges. This active and total approach to care requires robust programs, specialized services, and dedicated staff. Our programs include medical and nursing care, art, music, and recreation therapy, counselling, and provincial community care and outreach.
