About this organization
SPCBC addresses the well being of aged persons by bringing together, promoting and supporting community-based Senior Peel Counselling programs throughout the province. SPCBC fosters the efforts of seniors helping seniors by supporting the training of volunteer senior peer counsellors: by increasing volunteers' awareness of seniors' issues, health and wellness concerns, housing and family relations challenges; by offering membership and networking services to independent regional member community groups; and by facilitating the training of Senior Peer Counselling Trainers.
