About this organization
We own and operate Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon which provides accommodation for up to 73 families at a time while their children are undergoing treatment at BC Children's Hospital or Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children. We provide children's programs such as crafts, music therapy, art therapy, family dinners and storytelling for the residents of the house. We provide amenities such as lounges, kitchens, laundry facilities, fitness and games rooms, and courtyards and play areas. We own and operate the Ronald McDonald Family Room located within Surrey Memorial Hospital. This 2000 square foot haven has four sleeping rooms, a kitchen, showers, lounge, laundry facilities, play spaces and a quiet area.
