About this organization
Hotel Maple, managed by the PHS since 1998, provides 81 units of social housing for a diverse group of Downtown Eastside residents. The hotel underwent large-scale renovations in 2013-2014 as part of BC Housings SRO Renewal Initiative. For a time, the building was known as Washington Hotel; however, its name was changed back to its original name, Hotel Maple, after the renovations were completed.
