Foundry is a British Columbia-based organization that offers accessible support to young people aged 12-24 facing mental health and wellness challenges. They provide a variety of services including mental health care, substance use support, counseling, and referrals. Access to these services is facilitated through Foundry Centers across the province, as well as digitally via Foundry Virtual BC. The initiative receives support from multiple organizations including the Government of British Columbia, Graham Boeckh Foundation, Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, Providence Health Care, and St. Paul's Foundation. Foundry is committed to dismantling colonialism in the work they do and offers resources such as a self-care toolkit and community support options to aid in achieving overall wellness. They also host workshops for cultural connections, body acceptance, and unconscious bias, amongst others.

Programs Here are some great programs that can help you manage stress, anxiety and low mood. FOUNDRY'S PROVINCIAL VIRTUAL SERVICES Young people aged 12-24 and their caregivers can utilize the Foundry BC app to access drop-in or schedule virtual counselling appointments, find peer support, join a group or browse our library of tools and resources. Learn about the Foundry Virtual BC youth groups currently available here. BOUNCE BACK: RECLAIM YOUR HEALTH (DEPRESSION, STRESS AND ANXIETY) If youre 15 or older, have mild to moderate depression, or are struggling with stress or anxiety, BounceBack can help. Its free, confidential, and can be accessed from anywhere. We all feel sad sometimes. But when feeling low, stressed out, worried, depressed, irritable, angry or even nothing at all gets to be too much, remember that you do have the power to change how you feel. Choose whats best for you from our 3 platforms. Your journey, your pace. BounceBack Coaching Want someone to cheer you on? Work with one of our trained BounceBack coaches, who will help you learn skills to improve your mental health in up to 6 phone sessions. You pick the topics you want to work on from our 9 booklets and your coach supports and encourages you along the way. Think of it as having a personal guide through the program. Coaching is available in English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese or Punjabi. BounceBack Online Prefer to work on your own? No problem! Use our online program to learn at your own pace with the tools to get you where you want to go. You get access to the same 9 booklets, as well as interactive PDF worksheets and short videos. If you find you need more help along the way, remember that a coach is ready to start working with you at any time. Resources are available in English. Get tips on managing your mood, sleeping better, building confidence, increasing activity, and problem solving through our video series. Pick and choose which topics would be most useful. YMCA MENTAL WELLNESS PROGRAMS Everyone experiences low mood, worries, anxiety and stress. The key is to learn how to make sure these dont get in the way of doing things you care about! YMCAs across BC offer free six eight week mental wellness programs to young people ages 13-30.
