The church is, we believe, foundational a called people. A people who have a mission given, and a responsibility to fulfill that mission. Jesus framed this mission in Matthew 28:18-20:
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
The mission of our Lord is our mission. Therefore, we believe our purpose is to make followers of Jesus. To spread the gospel and to plant healthy churches through nurturing, equipping and commission Christs disciples until He returns.
