About this service
Respite is provided to children and youth by screened caregivers who are selected by the family and/or matched by the program. Hours are arranged mutually and respite support is typically in the caregivers home, or in the community. SCACL also offers staffed residential care to children as requested by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
