About this service
Our mission is to provide supportive, empowering, educational and culturally sensitive programming that promotes holistic wellness for Urban Indigenous Youth. The VNFC Youth Department provides a variety of programming and events to stimulate a positive, supportive, and creative environment for Indigenous Youth.
Youth Services Provided Include:
- Housing
- Addressing Poverty Issuesballs
- Referrals to various community resources
- Employment readiness
- Addictions support
- Court and legal support
- Education and Alternate Education Plans
- Probation/community service hours
- Assistance with mental health issues and navigatimg mental health services
- FASD support
- Supporting Youth with crucial appointments
