About this service

Originally named the Saanich-Victoria Branch, Emily Carr opened in 1966 and was the first branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library system outside of the main library in downtown Victoria. The branch was renamed Emily Carr in 1999 and moved to its Uptown location in 2014.
