About this service
Funded by the Childrens Aid Foundation and Scotia Capital, this program supports children and youth to stay in school through recognition of achievement and overcoming personal challenges. We work with community partners, youth workers, schools and our staff to identify kids and youth that have overcome challenges, or worked hard to succeed and stay in school. The program provides financial recognition for their efforts that include an award, and a contribution towards their education fund! We work with our partner Vancity to engage kids and parents about the values of a Registered Education Fund, and some of the matching funding available through government.
