About this service
For peers looking to develop their skills in peer support work, we provide peer development training, resources, and mentorship opportunities to encourage and enable peers to engage in their communities at a deeper level. We aim to equip peers with skills to implement and support on the ground community-based programs that benefit all people affected by viral hepatitis. It is also our firm belief that all peers involved in peer support and community work should be paid a living wage reflecting their skills and experiences.
Equitable access to the tools we develop, as well as in all we do, is an important part of the approach in every way, whether in our training and mentoring, and extends to our belief in care access equity, which is fundamental, on the ground where people seek the help they need and deserve.
