About this service
The purpose of the Independent Living Skills Program is to provide one-on-one life skills and transition support to youth ages 16 through 18, in order to increase their independence as they transition into adulthood.
The service is provided by qualified and highly-trained youth care workers directly supervised by board-certified behaviour analysts who will work as part of the youths transition and support team. The program is free for families whose youth (a) has an open file with the Ministry of Child and Family Development; (b) is aged 16 through 18. The term of service is from three months to one year depending on the assessed need.
