About this service
The Family Preservation and Reunification Program receives family referrals from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
The program focuses on and serves families where children are at risk of removal, have been removed or where reunification of the family is being considered. This can include supervised visits where access is granted to families when children are under Ministry care.
This program is available in Prince George and the surrounding area.
Some of the program activities can include but not be limited to:
- Parenting group sessions
- Support in remote communities
- Attend community events with families
- Referrals and networking within the community
- Family assessments
- Talking circles
- Group trainings
