About this service
Offers entry-level training in cooking, through classroom instruction, textbook material, practical training, and work placements. Four-month program offers cook Level One Curriculum in culinary arts, baking, and pastry arts and theory. Program is designed to give participants the prerequisites to start an entry-level position in the hospitality industry, pursue further culinary training, or continue with other studies. Also includes basic certificate programs such as Food Safe and First Aid, and employment skills workshops. Credit is available in partnership with the Prince George School District.
