About this service
AWAC in partnership with BC Housing developed the Victoria Towers program in 2015. The program was developed in recognition of the fact that individuals graduating from the Housing Readiness program were sometimes not ready to live entirely independently and continued to require supports, though less. The Victoria Towers program is a second stage housing program which offers individuals independent subsidized living on a secured floor. Individuals participating in this program continue to develop life skills and receive supports, as necessary. In 2020 the program was opened to be available to all gender identities. There are seven (7) units available, either bachelor or one-bedroom style units, and individuals can stay up to one (1) year. The cost of the program is $375.00 per month.
