About this service
AWACs Housing Outreach program offers services to all gender identities, to support individuals to find and secure safe, stable, affordable, independent housing. The Housing Outreach worker supports individuals in identifying a realistic housing budget, contacting landlords and seeking out appropriate housing, setting up and accompanying to viewings, and additional supports.
The Housing Outreach worker works collaboratively with local landlords and community resources to build positive working relationships and support individuals in accessing subsidized, social, or market housing. Landlords and the individuals that we house will have access to our twenty-four-seven (24/7) on-call supports through the Outreach and Housing First team.
