About this service
We offer psychosocial support for people who are at various stages of a progressive life-threatening illness and their families and to people who are grieving a loss through death. The service consists of one on one counselling and or support by the coordinator and or trained volunteers. Companionship, information, and practical assistance are the focus. A yearly 6-session "Journey Through Grief" program is offered. The program houses an extensive lending library. What is hospice palliative care? Hospice palliative care provides comfort and quality of life care for people living with life-limiting illness and their families.
