About this service
Started in 2006, project activities focus on enhancing food security for individuals and the community as a whole through promoting awareness and supporting the development of local food production. An annual Edible Garden Tour is coordinated as well as scheduled workshops about food production and preservation. Current focus is to focus on the food insecure in our community by creating food skills programming with the aim of increasing intake of whole foods for community members facing food security barriers.
