About this service
As a family resource program, the Family Place welcomes all families with children from birth to age 5. Family Place offers a daily drop-in, structured programs, and support, resources, referrals and information for families with young children to promote optimal child development and increase family and community capacity. Regular programs include Sprouts (parent-child gardening); Mother Goose (early literacy program); Rhythm Circle Time (music program); FITS (Fun in the Sun summer program); and parent mentor program where parents are supported to share their skills with other parents.
