The diagnosis and treatment of a life-limiting illness impacts a person and their surrounding family and friends emotionally, spiritually and socially. Questions, uncertainties and many emotions arise around maintaining meaning and control over our lives while also preparing for the road ahead. Hospice volunteers are trained to accompany you through the emotions and practical realities of living with an illness. We aim to help you live your best day, every day, and to provide non-medical comfort and care. Hospice care is not just for those facing imminent death, but can provide support through all stages of an illness.
