About this service
Are you or someone you know unable to make it into the Library due to illness, injury or another physical challenge? No problem. Library volunteers will deliver materials each monthfor free. With an individuals likes, needs and preferences in mind, Library staff choose items from the Librarys collection of regular print books, large print books, audio books, magazines, DVDs and CDs. Then volunteers deliver a Library bag of materials once a month. Each month well pick up the old bag and leave a new one. No need to worry about due dates. Volunteers deliver Books on Wheels to private homes the second Wednesday of every month, between 10am and noon. Books on Wheels go to Willingdon Creek Village, Evergreen Extended Care Unit and Kiwanis residences the last Wednesday of every month, between 10am and noon.
