About this service
Our Health Van travels throughout various communities seven days a week and serves people who use drugs, sex workers and street-engaged populations in New Westminster, Burnaby, Tri-Cities, Maple Ridge and other communities upon request. Wave us down or call us if you would like to access these services:
- Harm reduction supplies (condoms, lube, needles, syringes, pipes, sharps containers)
- Sharps disposal
- Take Home Naloxone kits and training
- Drug checking (fentanyl test strips)
- Hygiene supplies
- Referrals to community resources
- Emergency snacks
- To report a bad date or obtain a warning sheet of dangerous Johns.
- To access the health van, call (604)-351-1885. If you are interested in becoming a peer in the peer-to-peer harm reduction distribution program, let us know, and we may be able to provide you with the proper training, supplies, and a small monthly honorarium.
