About this service
Our Extreme Weather Response Program provides extra emergency shelter beds during the winter months. Extreme weather beds are temporary spaces made available to those in need, particularly during situations where sleeping outside might threaten their health and safety.
The Extreme Weather Response Program is activated by the shelter in response to the weather being experienced in our community. This program usually runs from the end of October to the end of March.
This program is funded by BC Housing.
