About this service
The access centre provides tax assistance through our community volunteer income tax program (cvitp). The community volunteer income tax program (CVIPT), helps to ensure that taxpayers get all credits and refunds they could be eligible to obtain. Furthermore, this program aids in filing tax returns as far back as 10 years.
Who can use it?
Eligibility criteria simple returns for: 1 person: Income up to $35,000, 2 people: Income up to $45,000, 3 people: Income up to $47,500, each additional dependant: $2,500. Unable to process taxes for: deceased persons, bankruptcy, self-employment, interest income over $1,000, capital gains or losses, employment expenses, business or rental income and expenses, sale of property.
