Vickie Kampe holds a masters degree in counselling psychology and is a registered clinical counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors RCC #4593. She believes in using counselling methods that are supported with scientific research that shows clients get the best outcomes for healthy change. Cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotion focused therapy, mindful based stress reduction and emdr are all methods that have years of research to show they are evidence based tools for recovery. She values skills based, client centered counselling modalities. In sessions we explore, discuss and learn strategies to build independence in coping with difficulties. It is possible to improve relationships, harness hope, and learn coping strategies to endure difficult relationships and distressing events in your life.
