About this organization

Cascadia operates and owns an activity and craft training Centre for people who are developmentally disabled. The Centre and office is located at 351 West 19th St in North Vancouver. Cascadia currently serves 35 people with developmental disabilities primarily through BC Government Ministry contracts. The program operates full time, 5 days/week. Throughout the day the participants may work with a craft master; at fabric weaving, willow basketry, candle making, print products, home skills or gardening. Artistic activities are also offered and include: individual and group music time with a music therapist, speech, reading and writing, drama projects, watercolor painting, clay work and other artistic work.
