About this service
Community Based Respite is a pro-active program that allows families to take a break from caring for a special needs child at home. We carefully screen caregivers before matching them with families to reduce the overall level of stress in the home. This supervised care can take place in the family home or the home of the caregiver. It can be arranged on an hourly and/or overnight basis.
