About this service
The Equipment Fund can be used by any member of the BC Chapter. This is regardless of age, geographic location or level of need. The fund was established to assist deafblind individuals with the purchase of specialized items such as hearing aids, splints, wheelchair parts, repairs, instruments and any other items that are of a therapeutic, educational or personal nature.
Since its inception in 2001, the fund has paid for all or part of items such as musical instruments, bikes, hearing aids, glasses, laminating equipment, computers, etc.
