About this service
Are you (or is someone you know) 55+ and interested in increasing physical mobility and social connections? The Right Neighbourly Walking Program might be what you are looking for! The Right Neighbourly Walking Program is a free walking program using Nordic poles that is designed for older adults who are living in their own homes. Participants learn how to use Nordic walking poles as a mobility tool and build strength at their own pace in a friendly, welcoming environment. We also aim to inspire a sense of comfort in and appreciation for our shared urban environment. Programs run as a series, beginning from various meeting points across Nanaimo.
