When someone special dies, the difficult task of grieving begins. Grief is tough stuff. You are probably experiencing a roller-coaster rush of feelings. We hope we can help. How do you deal with your feelings, your family, your friends, school, work? Your feelings may take you on a roller-coaster ride from sad to mad to numb to feeling totally overwhelmed.

You never know when a feeling will hit and it makes you feel different from your friends and family. It can be very challenging to handle all the feelings that happen when someone special dies. If your grief or pain is becoming more than you can handle, Nanaimo Hospice has counselors available who specialize in helping youth with the feelings and challenges of grief.
