About this organization
The Nanaimo United FC philosophy is built around developing the individual as a player, whether that is on or off the pitch. With the aim to create a positive, challenging and enjoyable learning environment that provides the player with the freedom to express and develop their natural ability. We aim to create players who are comfortable on the ball and who are able to make good decisions when in or out of possession. This will encourage the players to think independently, or work alongside others to gain the maximum benefit. We believe that by coaching in this way the player will develop a sense of responsibility for their learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
