The Mid Island Métis Nation is a community of more than 1200 people living the values of our Métis Heritage through community engagement, education, economic development, and cultural sharing. We are a proud people with a rich past and an exciting future.

Our mission is to protect and promote Métis heritage. To develop and implement training, education, and economic opportunities, while ensuring effective communication to all our members on Central Vancouver Island.

The Mid Island Métis Nation community office is here to assist our Métis people in various ways.

We also have a variety of Métis cultural items for sale, and a small library of Métis related books that are available to borrow.
