About this service
Missions Kitchens is a programme that promotes cooking healthy meals from scratch on a budget using local foods where possible. We do this through teaching hands-on cooking skills and facilitating the formation of self-managing community kitchens. We have a coordinator who oversees all our programs and we also hire kitchen facilitators to teach. An advisory committee of community members gives us valuable advice. We are also a member of the Mission Food Access Network (MFAN).
