Mission Community Services is a local, non-profit organization, who aims to find effective long-term solutions to clients complex needs. They provide a variety of programming ranging from youth to senior services, meeting clients where they are and ensuring they continue along their spectrum of support.
- Family & Youth Services: addictions and family support counselling, at-risk youth engagement, parent-teen mediation, parenting skills, youth resource centre; day programs for families with children 0-6, and Child Care Resource & Referral program.
- Housing & Outreach: Emergency Shelter, Extreme Weather Response, Homeless Outreach Program, Supportive Housing, Homelessness Prevention Program.
- Senior Services: Support with medical transport, Meals on Wheels, Better at Home, Active Aging, Volunteer Income Tax Clinic.
- Settlement & New-to-Canada Programs: new immigrant and refugee assistance programs, work program for vulnerable adults.
- Food Centre & Christmas Bureau
