About this service
The Ridge Meadows Ministries Genesis Program is dedicated to helping those living with mental illness, addiction, and homelessness by providing a safe, drug free environment, to live and strengthen vital life skills. Talk therapy, spiritual counseling, group outings, referrals, and peer support through other community minded agencies/resources are key tools we utilize to ensure our residents have a higher chance of recovery.
Our Genesis program provides up to 14 men and 1 woman with their own living quarters, a communal living space and kitchen.
Genesis Program clients come from a variety of backgrounds, including:
- Individuals unable to find affordable housing
- Seniors on a fixed income
- Individuals struggling with mental illness
- Individuals in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
The needs and timeline for each applicant widely varies and we will work one-on-one with each resident to personalize a program plan with them.
